Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda’s new animated movie, Vivo, is now headed to Netflix. The movie was previously scheduled for a theatrical release through Sony Pictures on June 4, but now it will come to Netflix. A release date has not been announced.
Netflix acquired the global rights to Vivo for all regions except China, according to Deadline. Vivo was directed by Kirk DeMicco (The Croods) and Brandon Jeffords (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2). Miranda wrote and performed original songs for it.

EA’s Battlefield 2042 was something of a disappointment for the company, but the franchise remains popular and is set to expand with a major new installment. During EA’s latest earnings briefing, CEO Andrew Wilson said making the new Battlefield game is a top priority for EA right now, adding that the company has high hopes for the project.
