A small update has arrived to Call of Duty: Warzone on December 19, which introduces the new Archie’s Festival Frenzy event. The patch notes detail audio improvements and bug fixes for battle royale, as well as the arrival of the season’s new sniper rifle.
Season 1 Reloaded adds the brand-new AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle, which can be earned for free in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone as a reward in the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event. As previously reported by CharlieIntel, the weapon is also already available for purchase as a store bundle.
A small update arrived to Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 on June 11. The patch notes include a major nerf to the crossbow in battle royale, while there are some bug fixes and killstreak adjustments in multiplayer.
The crossbow has been a popular choice in Season 4 of Warzone, and now the developer has nerfed the Blastcap 20″ bolts attachment, which was making the weapon so powerful. The stuck damage of the bolts is decreased from 200 to 110, the inner damage is decreased from 150 to 110, and the outer damage is reduced from 50 to 35.

The Oscar-winning Danish movie Another Round is getting an English language version with Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly lined up to play the lead role portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen. The announcement that DiCaprio’s Appian Way bought the English language rights caused something of a stir on some circles, with some people saying Mikkelsen should get to play the role because he’s already well-known in America through his appearances in the James Bond franchise and on the TV show Hannibal.
Thomas Vinterberg, the director of Another Round, reacted to the discussion in an interview with IndieWire. He said won’t be a writer or director for the English version, but he plans to meet with Appian Way to discuss what happens next.
But for now, Vinterberg said he is confident in DiCaprio’s…
Take-Two’s president has commented on the company’s philosophy around remasters, saying it all comes down to the money. As part of Take-Two’s latest earnings report, Karl Slatoff outlined Take-Two’s position on remasters ahead of the launch of GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition and amid rumors of a Red Dead Redemption remaster.
“It purely is an economic decision. And the economic decision’s based on what we believe that the fan base to be, how much is it going to cost for the game to be remastered, are we going to make other changes to the game to enhance the experience…” he said (via SeekingAlpha).
Slatoff pointed out that remasters that are simple ports without much new added don’t typically sell as well as a game that is “truly remaster or truly enhanced.”

HBO Max’s new ad-supported tier is now available, allowing users to watch the company’s vast catalog of TV shows and movies for $5 less, but with ads. The ad-supported tier caps streaming quality at 1080p and it does not include access to new same-day Warner Bros. movie releases, in case that matters to you.
The ad-supported tier costs $10/month, which compares to $15/month for no ads. You can also subscribe to the ad-supported tier for $100/year or $150/year for no ads.
HBO Max boss Andy Forssell said in a statement that the new ad-supported tier should help the streaming service reach a wider audience, because price is a major motivator.
“We’ve worked hard to create an elegant, tasteful ad experience that is respectful of great storytelling for those users who choose…
Call of Duty Mobile’s multiplayer is packed with several classic modes. This includes standard Team Deathmatch-style matches, as well as objective-based modes like Domination and Hardpoint. For fans of tactical, non-respawn modes, Search and Destroy is also featured in the game. Here are all the standard multiplayer modes you’ll find in Call of Duty Mobile.
Frontline
Frontline is a team deathmatch-style mode, but the two teams have separate designated spawns on either side of the map. This keeps the spawns from being less chaotic than traditional modes, as each player will always respawn in their team’s designated spawn location. This mode hosts 10 players for each match, with 5 players per team. Players earn points for their team whene…
Following the announcement that James Gunn has been hired as co-CEO of DC Studios, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige had some kind words to say.
Earlier this week, after a months-long search for someone to take on the role, Gunn, alongside Peter Safran, have joined DC Studios as co-chairs and co-CEOs. Of course, Gunn owes much of his current career to the success of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. At the Black Panther Wakanda Forever red carpet premiere, Feige was asked by Deadline about Gunn joining DC, quipping, “Well, he’s got a lot of work to do for Marvel between now and May, which he’s well aware of. But after that, I’ll be first in line to see anything he does.”

When I first saw the Kunitsu-Gammi: Path of the Goddess’ reveal trailer last year, the gameplay made it seem like Capcom was returning to the hack-n-slash action of Onimusha. The style of the trailer was rooted in a fantastical and monstrous Sengoku Japan setting, and a masked hero, armed with a sword, slashed through mobs of grotesque beasts. There wasn’t much need to decipher it beyond that–it was an old-fashioned brawler from a developer that has done plenty of them in the past. Now that I’ve had hands-on time with the game, I find that my initial assumption from a year ago–while not entirely wrong–was only half right. Kunitsu-Gammi: Path of the Goddess is more than a return to a tried-and-true genre, and is instead shaping up to be an all-new twist on two genres I love.
